Some cabin cases are simply a small version of a large suitcase. 5033 is not. It is a 20 inch case built around the three things that actually get used on a short business trip: a laptop that has to come out at security, a shell that survives being gate-checked, and a trolley wide enough to push one-handed through a terminal.

The front panel is the part people actually use
The front panel hinges down rather than unzipping. Behind it sits a padded laptop sleeve held by a retaining strap, so the laptop comes out without opening the main compartment and without laying the case flat on the floor. The shell itself is 100% virgin Bayer polycarbonate, vacuum formed in house and finished matt, which keeps the surface uniform under airport lighting rather than showing the gloss variation common to blended sheet.
For a buyer, the useful question is not whether a front pocket exists, but whether it is reachable while the case is standing upright in a queue. On 5033 it is.
What a brand can change on this model
Because the shell is vacuum formed in house rather than bought in, customisation is not limited to a logo on a stock case. The exterior colour can be matched to a Pantone reference, the lining is specified by the brand, and the lock can be changed. The aluminium frame is part of the construction and stays as it is.
One constraint comes with the process. In vacuum forming the wheels and the trolley are shaped to fit the mould, so their design is fixed on this model. Their colour can still be specified. Everything that does not have to match the mould — the shell colour and finish, the lining and the lock — stays open to the brand.
Where this model fits in a range
5033 is a single 20 inch cabin size, offered in three finishes. It works best as the flagship of a cabin range, or as the piece that carries the brand story while larger sizes do the volume. If a range needs 24 inch and 28 inch alongside it, those are separate moulds and are scoped separately — this page describes the 20 inch case only.
Common questions
Is the frame aluminium or plastic? Aluminium. The case closes on a metal frame with a built-in TSA combination lock, not on a zipper.
Can the shell colour be changed without new tooling? Yes. Colour is a finishing choice. New tooling is only needed for a different shell shape, not for a different colour.
What is the minimum order and how long is sampling? 300 pcs per colour per size. Sampling runs 3 days for a standard style and from 14 days for a customised one.
Does 20 inch always pass as cabin baggage? 20 inch is the size most carriers accept as carry-on, but allowances differ and change. Confirm the current limit with the airline you are targeting before a programme is committed to this size.
